ABBYGAIL

A small structured body that stands on its own.

The shape holds without needing to be filled. Braided handles are set into the weave, so they sit as part of the body rather than fastened on top of it. A tab falls at the front and closes with a scalloped gold shell. Gold swivel clips sit at both sides, so the strap comes on for the shoulder and off for the hand.

Color is where each drop departs. Some arrive in a single tone, some in bands. The shape, the hardware, and the handles do not change.

Hand-knotted one at a time in Naples, Florida.
